New Superfast Expresses for Central Railway
22109/22110 Mumbai Kurla Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin – Mumbai Kurla LTT Weekly AC Superfast Express
In Operation. Started running from October 29 2013.
Timings and Days of Operation
- 22109 will leave Mumbai LTT at 1430 on Tuesdays to reach Nizamuddin at 1020 the next day Wednesday.

Route and Stoppages: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt. (to be updated)
A much awaited schedule, very aggressive and fast schedule that runs via the Central Railway route instead of the usual Western Railway line via Vadodara and Kota. This will be very heavily subscribed to and hopefully will be made a daily soon. Covers the Mumbai – Delhi run in just 20 hours, faster than the Trivandrum Rajdhani! PS: The train has proved to be a damp squib. Has no priority, always runs hours late and is falling out of preference with travelers. Needs to be upgraded to a Rajdhani.
22113/22114 Mumbai Kurla Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Trivandrum Kochuveli – Mumbai Kurla LTT Bi-Weekly Superfast Express
Started running from January 24 2014.
Timings and Days of Operation
- 22113 will leave Kurla LTT at 1655 every Tuesday and Saturday. Departs Madgaon at 0230, Mangalore at 0815, Ernakulam Town at 1540, Arrives at Thiruvananthapuram Kochuveli at 2030 the next day Wednesday & Sunday.
- 22114 will leave Thiruvananthapuram Kochuveli at 0035 every Monday and Thursday, Departs Ernakulam at 0515, Mangalore at 1235, Madgaon at 1710. Arrives at Kurla LTT at 0410 the next day on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Route and Stoppages: Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pernem, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangalore, Kasargod, Kannur, Thalasserry, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shornanur, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam, Kollam.
This will be the second fastest train between Trivandrum and Mumbai after the Rajdhani, taking just 35 min more to cover the distance. However, return timings from Kochuveli is highly inconvenient as it departs KCVL at midnight, all major stations in Kerala in the night or early morning and arrives at Thane and LTT very early in the morning when there aren’t even any local train services. Towards KCVL it follows the timings of the 12201 LTT – KCL Garib Rath. And the 12202 KCVL – LTT Garib Rath also departs on Thursdays.
